Career Highlights:
Mrs. Brannaka started her career teaching Grades 2-7 in a One-Teacher School. She later taught Grades 1-4 in a Two-Teacher School. After teaching first grade in Miami she stayed home and taught her two sons K-12. When her sons enrolled in college she started teaching 6th grade science and taught for 17 years at LCMS & RSGA. She enjoys the students at Belmont and enjoys teaching 5th grade science/social studies.
Personal Information:
Mrs. Brannaka and her husband, Chuck, have a small farm with a persimmon orchard, blueberries, grape vines and two greenhouses. Her two sons grew up on the farm but the oldest now teaches at an international school in Taiwan. He is married to a Taiwanese and has very active twin girls who are 8 years old. The youngest son is a Chemistry Professor at Walla Walla University in Washington State. He is married and has two daughters 10 and 6 years old.
Mrs. Brannaka enjoys gardening, hiking, canoeing/kayaking or just being outdoors with family or friends. She and her husband also enjoy traveling to see their granddaughters in Taiwan and Washington State.
